Arrival – Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Optional pre-tour accommodation can be arranged at an additional cost.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Pick up from either Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transfer to Karibu Heritage House.
Time permitting, enjoy an optional Arusha City Tour, visiting the art galleries, Cultural Heritage Centre, local market, and Maasai market.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Depart your lodge at 7:45 a.m. for Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants and baobab trees. Explore seasonal swamps and savannahs from an open-roof vehicle. Observe giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing the game drive. Conclude the day with dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Lodge & Camp.

Day 3: Fig Tree Lodge to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park, enjoying 4–5 hours of game viewing along bumpy roads through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint (weather permitting) for a spectacular view of the caldera. Picnic lunch en route.

Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive, then continue to Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Begin with a sunrise game drive searching for the Big Five. Return to camp for breakfast, then head out for an afternoon drive. The Serengeti also hosts over 500 bird species, including ostriches, secretary birds, and black eagles. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Walking Safari & Afternoon Game Drive

Start the day with a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger, experiencing the sights, sounds, and scents of the Serengeti plains. Afterward, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Conclude with dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro (Simba Campsite)

Depart early with a packed breakfast for a sunrise game drive, followed by breakfast at a picnic site in the wilderness. After a mid-day lunch back at the camp, depart for Ngorongoro Highlands, arriving at Simba Campsite on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha

Depart at 6:00 a.m. and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast. Explore the 260 km² crater for approximately 5 hours, viewing diverse wildlife, including the rare black rhinoceros.

Return to the campsite for lunch, then drive back to Arusha, ending the safari around 5–6 p.m.
