Tour Plan

Arrival – Tanzania

Upon arrival, you will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred to your hotel.
Pre-tour accommodation can be arranged at an additional cost.


Day 1: Arrival – Pick-Up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport

You will be picked up from either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Karibu Heritage House.
If time permits, you may enjoy an optional Arusha City Tour, including visits to the famous art galleries and the Cultural Heritage Centre.

Day 2: Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Tour & Chemka Hot Springs

After breakfast, depart at 7:30 a.m. for Materuni Village, located on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a scenic drive through local villages before registering at the village office.

Take a guided walk to Materuni Waterfalls, followed by an authentic Chagga coffee experience, where you’ll learn traditional coffee-making methods. After lunch, continue to Chemka (Kikuletwa) Hot Springs, a crystal-clear oasis perfect for swimming and relaxation. Return to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart around 7:45 a.m. for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.

Enjoy a full game drive through open savannahs, seasonal swamps, and along the Tarangire River, home to giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, warthogs, and abundant birdlife.

Later in the afternoon, exit the park and proceed to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.

Stop for a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate, then continue with an afternoon game drive across the endless Serengeti plains. As the sun sets, proceed to Seronera (Tumbili) Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Optional Activity:
A Maasai village visit can be arranged en route; however, some visits may be commercialized. Your guide will advise accordingly.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, starting early at sunrise when wildlife is most active. After returning to camp for breakfast, head out with a packed lunch for extensive game viewing.

Search for the Big Five and experience the park’s remarkable biodiversity, including over 500 bird species, from ostriches to secretary birds and birds of prey. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Depart the campsite around 6:00 a.m. with packed breakfast for a sunrise game drive. After breakfast in the bush, continue wildlife viewing before returning to camp for a hot lunch.

Later, depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, arriving at Simba Campsite, located on the crater rim, for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha

Start early at 6:00 a.m. and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhinoceros.

Spend approximately 5 hours exploring the crater floor before ascending for lunch. Afterward, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your 7-day adventure.
