Tour Plan

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins today! Explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous baobab trees, large elephant herds, and healthy populations of lions. Enjoy the classic African scenery of savannah plains, river woodlands, and rocky hills. Wildlife commonly seen includes wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys, and zebras. While spotting cheetahs and leopards may take a little more patience, the thrill of seeing these elusive predators is unforgettable.

Accommodation: Fig Tree Lodge & Camp – located in Mto wa Mbu, just five minutes from Lake Manyara National Park entrance. Facilities include a bar and restaurant, swimming pool, and Wi-Fi.

Day 2 & 3: Serengeti National Park

Experience the unforgettable Serengeti plains over two days. Expect incredible wildlife sightings: lions roaring, leopards stalking prey, cheetahs sprinting across the savannah, elephants wandering beside your vehicle, and massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo moving as one.

Accommodation: Seronera Public Campsites – camp under the stars while listening to the captivating night sounds of the African wilderness.

Optional Activity (Day 3, Early Morning):

  • Hot-Air Balloon Safari – Rise above the Serengeti at sunrise for a breathtaking aerial view of the plains. See elephants, giraffes, and wildlife from a unique perspective.

  • Price: $560 per person.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Enjoy your final morning in the Serengeti with a morning game drive. Later, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite on the crater rim. Swap safari stories with fellow travelers while enjoying spectacular views of the crater, often shrouded in morning mist. The campsite is conveniently close to the main descent road into the crater.

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Simba Campsite – comfortable camping on the crater rim with stunning views.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique volcanic caldera teeming with wildlife. Explore the crater floor and witness animals in a sunken ecosystem formed over millennia, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, black rhinos, and hippos. The breathtaking scenery and extraordinary wildlife make this one of the most memorable days on your Tanzanian safari.

After your game drive, ascend back from the crater and conclude your safari.
